Did you know that one of the first schools in Palm Beach County was founded in our own Delray Beach? During this segment, we explore how the spirit of educational excellence has helped to shape our vibrant village by the sea. Tune in for candid interviews with; Kayleigh Howald (Archivist of the Delray Beach Historical Society), Charlene Farrington (Executive Director of the Spady Cultural Heritage Museum), Ruby Riggleman (Pompey Park Senior Club Member), Peggy Rolle (Pompey Park Senior Club Member), and Latoya Dixon (Principal of Village Academy).

The City of Delray Beach had an opportunity to chat with Dr. Jermaine Scott, after his lecture for the 2024 Delray Beach Lecture Series. Our sit-down interview with Dr. Scott gave us a peek inside how South Florida Tourism got its start.
